My daughter's condition has improved dramatically due to Sharron's advice, and we can't thank her enough as my daughter's guardian angel over the year at Citrus Cove Elementary.
As a parent, I have personally witnessed Nurse Sharron's extraordinary concern, care, compassion, and dedication to the students at Citrus Cove Elementary School—especially to my daughter, who is a fifth grader this academic year.
My daughter has several food allergies, eczema, wheezing, and severe skin allergies. She can become more susceptible to even minor allergen exposure or a hot day spent exercising. Any outburst has the potential to interfere with her ability to focus and learn. Sharron reminded me to meet with her early before the start of the school year to discuss my daughter's condition and needs. We meet and discuss every aspect of my daughter's health conditions and treatment for possible scenarios. Sharron demonstrates the utmost interest in her well-being, including the emotional and mental health part of my daughter's complex condition. It is never just another student on the chart. Sharron would share strategies I had not considered for further alleviating my daughter's skin condition. Sharron is very knowledgeable about allergies and issues affecting elementary school students.
