Lourdes Gomez is truly a guardian angel. My daughter was born in September. Both my wife and I were overwhelmed with responsibility as new parents, and every second of the day was filled with lessons and things to learn about being new parents. Our daughter took 37 weeks and was having a tough time adjusting to the world outside of the womb. It wasn’t until we first met Lourdes (our overnight nurse) that the new world of parenting started to make sense. From the moment she walked into the room for the first time, an aura of cool, calm, and collected with a sprinkle of humor and confidence overwhelmed us. She instantly made sure all three of us (mom, dad, and baby) were taken care of to the fullest extent of her hospitality. She handled our daughter with love and care, making my wife and I melt. I want to specifically recognize her ability to make strong recommendations and advice based on her knowledge and experience. Also, her unbelievable patience, waiting with us or returning constantly to make sure my daughter was breastfeeding properly. The pictures I have of Lourdes giving my daughter her first bath while teaching us her masterful technique will never be forgotten. My wife and I are forever grateful for Lourdes.
