Mickell is like a part of our family now. She's energetic and lights up the room when she comes in. She has the biggest heart and always goes above and beyond to get him everything he needs.
M feels as though Mickell has helped her stay sane! M, my sister, just told me that when she got up here in Lerner Tower that she had felt like giving up! And that it was Mickell that helped her so much that she came out of that dark place. How can you measure that?! Being my mother's caretaker for 23 years and M's for almost 2 years, I can tell you that it is the hardest and most rewarding job on the planet. We caregivers are here for that reason, and we are great at it. I love Mickell and so does M.

My fiancé was recently hospitalized after an ATV accident. Having Mickell as his nurse has truly been wonderful. She is one of the kindest nurses that he has had during his stay at UH. Mickell is like a part of our family now. She's energetic and lights up the room when she comes in. She has the biggest heart and always goes above and beyond to get him everything he needs. I admire her dedication, selflessness, and resilience in this field of work. She even brought him doughnuts when he was having a hard time eating. I want to make sure that she knows that her hard work and commitment don't go unnoticed. Thank you Mickell we'll never forget you and everything you have done for our family.

I really don't know where to start with Mickell. She is an outstanding nurse! She went above and beyond with the care and compassion she has shown my dad and my family. Mickell advocated for my dad many times over our stay here (16 days and counting), asking for a different pain regimen, getting him on breathing treatments, and for a stronger cream for the rash that he broke out in. She understood that his comfort was important, checked on us, and set our minds at ease throughout this very traumatic experience. Her mind was set on giving my dad the best care possible and she exceeded that many times. Not only was she on top of his care, but she did it with such grace. She was always smiling and made us laugh, which is really nice when your life has changed on a dime. I can not say any more wonderful things about Mickell! Truly a shining star!
