I recently came into the ER with a stomach ache. Little did I know I would be at the Crestwood B&B for over two weeks. You have some remarkable folks on 4Medical, but the charge nurse, Claire, stood out for multiple reasons.

She truly is an “in charge” individual. Claire has the unique ability to understand what I was feeling without saying a word. It comes naturally to her. Claire made me feel like I mattered, and she went the extra mile. She helped me find my eye drops, untangled my cords, and stayed that one extra minute when I didn’t want to be alone. You could say that is the job of a nurse, but she went way above and beyond her job. I felt heard, cared for, and surrounded by a hug. This is why I feel she is truly deserving of the DAISY Award.
