Malinda Lebrun was nominated by a colleague who has been observing Malinda do exemplary work. She stated in her nomination, "When a child experiences abuse, it is an emotional and trying time for the whole family. Malinda calmly and compassionately interacts with families and patients at their most vulnerable and puts them at ease. She quickly builds rapport and navigates difficult conversations with professionalism and kindness." She is in several multidisciplinary meetings to ensure the child has a safe disposition, whether it's home or other necessities like formula, diapers, etc. She lives and breathes to ensure children have a safe home to go to. Malinda, thank you for working behind the scenes to save children's lives. You are an Extraordinary Nurse!
