At times, when I began to feel depression start to creep in, he always seemed to show up with this great big smile on his face as if I were the total reason for him being there. It makes someone feel less ALONE.
Daniel was here all the days after I was admitted. He always came in with a smile and helpful attitude. In fact all the RNs were kind and caring as well as the whole care team. He was knowledgeable and answered my questions and concerns. You're fortunate to have him on your team. He's also continuing his nursing education and seems very grounded.

No specific situation. Daniel was great, friendly, and patient with me. He made sure I always had ice water and Jello.

When I got here, I was very worried about my situation and my health, but my entire stay here has kept me laughing and with a smile on my face. As we all know, there is no better medicine. At times, when I began to feel depression start to creep in, he always seemed to show up with this great big smile on his face as if I were the total reason for him being there. It makes someone feel less ALONE. No one wants to go through something as scary as a blood infection in their heart, knowing they are gonna go through it alone. Because everyone needs some support, and that is exactly what Daniel was for me. Times where I didn't really feel like staying here at this hospital on the count of some other nurse or their behavior. He listened to my thoughts and calmed my nerves. Being BiPolar and Suffering from anti-social disorder makes being in social settings difficult at times. However, his calm, understanding, and compassionate demeanor made my stay here so much better. Thank you, Daniel, for the Aloha Spirit that you shared with those of us in need.
